For fans of Interpol, Joy Division and other post-punk outfits… Mark Burgess from The Chameleons UK is playing tonight at the Rock-it Room on Clement Street in San Francisco.
Many people compare Interpol to Joy Division, which I’ve always called “sophomoric”. The only real similarity is the tone of the vocals. Musically I’ve always found that Interpol is closer to The Chameleons.
