Catherine Wheel’s Rob Dickinson On Wilde Club Records and Choosing Fontana Over Creation Records

Catherine Wheel’s social media teased some news yesterday that got many people all worked up. The likelihood of new music, or a reunion tour of any kind is very low, however we can hope for back catalog reissues and unreleased songs. Perhaps one day a proper box set with all of the great b-sides on CD & vinyl (27 songs by my count).

Here is a short clip of an interview in San Francisco in 1997 where frontman, Rob Dickinson, explains how they released their early EPs on Wilde Club Records and signed to Fontana. There is also funny impersonation of Creation Records owner Alan McGee.

The full length interview can be seen here.
